About First Baptist Church of Fannett

First Baptist Church of Fannett is a Bible-believing church located just outside of Beaumont in Fannett, TX. Our beliefs are firmly rooted in God’s Word and centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our mission is simple yet foundational: to glorify God by loving others and making disciples.

We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, and Golden Triangle Baptist Network.

We invite you to visit and connect with us. When you do, you’ll discover a community of believers dedicated to loving our sovereign God and learning about Him from His infallible and inerrant Word- the Bible- contained in 66 books that comprise the Old and New Testament. Nursery care and classes for all ages are available.

Called to Discipleship

In accordance with the Great Commission, we are devoted to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ministry extends from the individual to the collective, endeavoring to extend the reach of salvation's promise to all mankind (Matt. 28:18-20). 

Family

We believe the church unites all ages in covenantal service under Christ's sovereign lordship, reflecting the church as God's covenant family (1 Cor. 12-12-13, 1 Peter 2:9-10). At First Baptist Church of Fannett, we cherish the family and are rooted in Scripture's call to train all generations (Deut. 6:6-7).

Every Sunday, we offer children’s ministries like children's Sunday school classes, nursery, and children's church. These age-appropriate environments are designed to help children learn about God’s truth in ways that are engaging, safe, and filled with care.

Leadership

First Baptist Church of Fannett is led by a team of servant-hearted leaders who are dedicated to Christ and obeying His Word. 

Our pastor provides sound, practical, and biblically faithful teaching each week. He has received both theological and pastoral training and is equipped to shepherd our church and reach our local community with the Gospel.

In addition to our pastor, we are blessed with a team of elders and deacons who provide spiritual oversight, support ministries, and serve the body with humility and grace. Together, they lead by example, living out the church’s mission in their homes, their workplaces, and their daily lives.
